    lloy 7075 has
    higher yield strength than 300 series stainless steels. Not a replacement for titanium or high strength steel, but for most fastener needs, the T73 temper of 7075 is more than adequate to do the job. Finally, this temper does not have the risk of corrosion in a salt water environment like 7075 T6 tempers.
